A retrospective chart review to understand standard of care in patients receiving Ig treatment for CIDP in the UK

Research summary

This retrospective observational chart review study aims to analyse the standard of care for patients with Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP) treated with immunoglobulin (Ig) therapy. The review will examine treatment patterns, clinical outcomes, and disease progression. Data will be gathered from existing patient records, including demographic characteristics, treatment regimes, and clinical assessments over time. There are no study-specific interventional procedures required of the principal investigator (PI) or patient to meet the needs of the study objectives. Additionally, there are no protocol mandated study visits, assessments, or procedures for patients in this study. A total of 120 patients will be included in the study, with 30 patients from each of the four sites in the UK.
